Dad's brand new LG OLED TV has served as a stark reminder of the limitations of LCD monitors, and what we sacrificed when we abandoned CRT monitors. The colours and blacks on the LG OLED TV look extremely vivid and there is virtually zero loss of brightness or colour fidelity when viewing it at an angle. Motion blur is also completely absent. Now I want all my monitors to be OLED monitors.
@thor My next office monitor will be a 4K 40-inch(ish) OLED TV. The color space is amazing and gives you two monitors in one (without the bezel in between). When calibrated it is the best option on the market, hands down. Only drawback is that OLED is somewhat more prone to image burn, like the old CRT's.
