I have no idea what to do for my next vacation. I have been in Stockholm (Sweden), Manila (Philippines), Philadelphia (US), Madrid (Spain), London (UK) and Las Palmas (Canary Islands) and I have taken a Mediterranean cruise. All of it was fine, but nothing exciting happened except in the places where I had friends who were locals and could hang out. Public spaces are dull. In London, what I wanted the most was access to interesting people, projects and places.

If you want a fantastic tropical paradise, Fiji is lovely. Great place for seeing aquatic life, and the locals are very welcoming. My wife and I went there for our honeymoon.
