"Mastodon" doesn't roll off the tongue like "Facebook" or "Twitter" does. It's a bit of a heavy, clunky word, much like the creature it represents. It's not a word that slips unnoticed into a conversation. Rather, it stomps into the room and puts everything to a stop. Mastodon. Masto-DUN! Masturb... Mast-uh-DUN! I don't like it very much.
