Haha, I was trying to use the release dates of various pop songs that I covered to date my old recordings, but as it turns out, I had been very careful to add copyrights to all the MP3 files, probably with WinAmp. It looks like the oldest track I recorded that is still preserved is from 2001. I would've been 18 years old at the time. I think I was making music as early as 1999, but I don't seem to have any files with ID3 tags that old.
