Whenever I mention to anyone that my preferred drink is Gin & Tonic, my dad always makes sure to mention that I "won't get malaria."
This is of course quite funny, since malaria isn't something one needs to worry about in Norway.
@thor Tonic water is supposed to help against the symptoms of malaria. Gin and tonic does not and have never been claimed to prevent malaria.
