The humble Grapher application that hides in the Utility folder of every macOS system is not so humble after all. I loaded 1200 data points into it just now from a CSV file and was able to visually fit an exponential function to them by tweaking the constants until the lin-log plots lined up. It properly formats the mathematical notation on the go too. Someone at Apple put a fair bit of effort into that.
@skypage A classic. But don't think the Grapher in OS X is a direct code descendent of it. I mean, who uses Carbon anymore?
