The web comic Scandinavia and The World kind of misses out on the whole pop culture aspect of Sweden, and how much of it is exported to Norway. The cartoonist draws him with as a sort of preppy person with a comb-over, but making him a pop star would be far more accurate. Perhaps it's the Danish love of the good life that makes Sweden seem strict to the cartoonist, who is Danish, but Norwegians are even more moralistic, on top of being outdoorsy people.
@thor I find myself having to agree wholeheartedly with anyone named Thor. I have no experience with Sweden, Denmark or the web comic in question. I will however, now have to search out Scandinavia and The World to see for myself.
@thor - well, National stereotypes is hard to get right. I have a friend who lived in Vietnam for some years and when he got home it struck him that only Scandinavians could see the difference between the Scandinavian people.
