Who knew that fermented, congealed milk could produce so many flavors and textures? What would the world be without cheese?

A sad place.
@thor free of bad cholesterol, not the enslaver of animals, and overall healthier. 😉
@_knives_out_ I enjoy my French Brie, English Cheddar and Swiss Emmenthaler too much for that. I don't think the cows mind. They come home from the pasture to be milked and fed quite voluntarily. In Norway, some farms have automatic milking stations that the cows can go to when they want to get milked. I think as far as the cows are concerned, they're as comfy with a domesticated existence as we humans are. They've been with us for thousands of years.
@_knives_out_ Some countries industrialize their farming more than others. Norway is somewhere in the middle; very much free-range and comfortable for the animals, but there is also modern technology present.
@thor not worth living in 🧀
